Memoir Stand

This series of sculptures represents a memoir of life in the plant remains. The main white sculpture stands on a 4 inch diameters steel plate by a magnet hidden inside the bottom of sculpture.
These are made with California Buckwheat remains. California Buckwheat is a bush plant that has round fluffy orbs of tiny flowers. The flexible roots of this plant have a spiral vine-like shape.

These are made with Wild mustard remainings. Wild mustard plant is a successful invasice plant in California. It bloom yellow flowers in springs. The whole plant is edible and nutritious.
